摘要: We report three paediatric cases of severe dehydration and hyponatraemia with circulatory compromise associated the use external ventricular drainage cerebrospinal fluid. Two children had cardiac arrests. All were successfully resuscitated. While there additional factors that contributed to other fluid losses, balance data are incomplete, these highlight a need for increased vigilance when managing drains.
