摘要: Tributyltin-binding proteins (TBT-bps), members of the lipocalin family, bind TBT in fish blood and are presumed to contribute detoxification TBT. Recent studies have shown that many species TBT-bp genes, these genes induced by stresses such as exposure chemicals or pathogenic bacteria. However, function TBT-bps, mechanisms their induction activity still unclear. Here, towards elucidating functions TBT-bp2, we produced a TBT-bp2 knockout (TBT-bp2-/-) strain Japanese medaka, Oryzias latipes, using CRISPR/Cas9 system. Gene expression mutated was reduced, cDNA sequencing predicted protein structure suggested possible loss function. could be grown under normal conditions. Exposure TBT-bp2-/- medaka various future experiments is expected our understanding this novel system aquatic organisms.
