Design of a diversity antenna with stubs for UWB applications

摘要: A two-element diversity planar antenna for a multiple-input multiple-output application is proposed. By adopting two Y-shaped radiators, the provides wideband impedance matching characteristics over desired frequency band. To reduce mutual coupling between radiating elements, three stubs are inserted in ground plane. Good and improved isolation observed. The measured bandwidth of proposed ranges from 2.27 GHz to 10.2 return loss less than 10 dB. Parametric analysis has been conducted investigate effect radiator length insertion on characteristics. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
