摘要: Objective. There are only a few data on the prevalence of drug-induced liver injury associated with fatal outcome. The aim this study was to determine nature and number suspected adverse disease fatalities and/or transplantation since reporting drug reactions (ADRs) started in Sweden.Material methods. All reports hepatic ADRs outcome received by Swedish Adverse Drug Reactions Advisory Committee (SADRAC) from 1966 2002 were reviewed causality assessed.Results. SADRAC 151 injury; 48 cases either unlikely or excluded. Of remaining 103 cases, 13 (13%) highly probable, (47%) probable 42 (41%) possible. median age patients 64 years (47–77 interquartile range (IQR)) 59 (57%) males. majority classified as hepatocellular (75%), 15% cholestatic 10% mixed.
