Design of a Multilayer X-/Ka-Band Frequency-Selective Surface-Backed Reflectarray for Satellite Applications

摘要: A dual-band X-/Military Ka-band (MKa-band) single-aperture reflectarray structure that transmits and receives at both MKa- X-bands is introduced in this paper. Frequency selective surface (FSS) used as the ground plane for MKa-band reflectarray. cascade configuration of FSS-backed reflectarrays designed each receive transmit bands to reduce coupling between elements these two when they are etched on same substrate. Additional FSS’s implemented further enhance isolation bands. The located top X-band composed a perfect electric conductor (PEC)-backed plane. also convert circular linear polarization which results simplified feed structure.
