摘要: In this paper three interrelated topics will be discussed. First, I explore how some British academics, administrators and politicians actively used the Roman Empire to help identify define their own aspirations, in so doing drew a parallel between Britain Rome. discussing topic, provide brief consideration of work Francis Haverfield, pioneer Romano-British archaeological studies.
