摘要: AbstractThe values and attitudes toward education that parents transmit to their children considerably affect school adjustment. The aim of this study was analyse the relationships between academic adjustment in Spanish adolescents parental socialization styles. Participants were 487 (53.9% females) 12 14 years old (M = 13.13, SD = 0.79). Based on responses a scale, families classified according classic four parenting styles typology (authoritative, indulgent, authoritarian or neglectful). Academic performance, number years repeated, self-concept disruptive behaviour evaluated as criteria.
