摘要: Abstract This paper reports the effects of Au codoping on scintillation and optical properties BaBrCl:Eu single crystals grown by Bridgman-Stockbarger method. The study, performed varying both Eu concentrations, demonstrates highly effective role for improving light output all considered europium concentrations. These, up to trifold, improvements are accompanied a substantial reduction in long decay tails, thermo- optically stimulated luminescence intensities with respect doped only Eu. ions is discussed based these experimental results.
