摘要: Developmental defects of the enamel (DDE) increase risk for diseases that impact negatively on quality life. The objective this study was to compare oral health life children with molar-incisor-hypomineralisation (MIH) and hypoplasia; assess if caries worsened these lesions This recruited 853 6 16-years-old school children. They filled Child-OIDP questionnaire. MIH, hypoplasia, hygiene status assessed. Poisson regression used determine MIH hypoplasia life, after adjusting effect sex, age, socioeconomic class, status. prevalence 2.9% 7.6% respectively. There no significant difference in mean child-OIDP scores or without (p = 0.57), (p = 0.48), (p = 0.30).
