摘要: Epidermoids tend to grow around and adhere critical neurovascular structures, but total or maximal tumor removal is recommended reduce the risk of recurrence. We describe our method combined microscopic endoscopic resection for extensive epidermoid tumors. Thirteen patients with tumors located in suprasellar, prepontine, surrounding cisterns underwent microsurgical a rigid endoscope high definition camera system. An anterior petrosal and/or pterional approach was selected 6 lateral suboccipital 7 patients. used operating microscope remove through approaches 5 cases 1 case. confirm Total achieved subtotal 8 recommend achieve suprasellar prepontine epidermoids.
