摘要: Stem cell transplantation therapy is a promising adjunct for regenerating damaged heart tissue; however, only modest improvements in cardiac function have been observed due to poor survival of transplanted cells the ischemic heart. Therefore, there remains an unmet need therapies that can aid attenuating damage. Recent studies demonstrated exosomes released by stem could serve as potential cell-free therapeutic repair. These exosomes/nanoshuttles, once thought be merely method waste disposal, shown play crucial role physiological functions including short- and long-distance intercellular communication. In this review, we summarized demonstrating improving function, fibrosis, stimulating angiogenesis, modulating miRNA expression. Furthermore, carry important cargo miRNAs proteins diagnostic marker cardiovascular disease post-myocardial infarction. Although evidence from preclinical myocardial repair, are several challenges addressed before fully utilized off-the-shelf therapeutics
