摘要: Acute toxicity experiments with purified toxins show that four species of zooplankton differ markedly in their physiological sensitivity to cyclic peptide hepatotoxins from Microcystis ueruginosu (microcystin-LR1 and Noduluria spumigenu (nodularin). The copepod Diaptomus birgei was most sensitive (48-h LC,, for microcystin-LR ranged 0.45 1.00 pg ml-l), Daphnia pulicuriu least LCsO, 21.4 hyulinu L& 11.6 ml- *) D ap niu pulex LC&,, 9.6 ml-l) were intermediate sensitivity. h Survivorship the presence toxic strongly infiuenced by both feeding behavior. Relatively good survivorship D. associated low toxin rapid inhibition cells. In contrast, very poor sur\ivorship greater nearly uninhibited on Microcystis. Intermediate food selection capabilities one hand high other. Our results suggest have evolved behavioral adaptations which enhance abilities coexist cyanobacteria.
