摘要: In one electron picture, the electronic states in a crystalline solid are extended Bloch states. This is direct consequence of Bloch-Floquet’s theorem. These quantum labelled by wave-vector, к, and band index, n. For these good numbers. disordered solid, on other hand, with breakdown long-ranged order, no longer number. Of course, may still be extended, but cannot characterized к. The seminal paper Anderson [1] stated that if disorder strong enough, all become localized at T = 0°o leads to metal-insulator transition. He considered tight-binding Hamiltonian only on-site probability density width W band-width of, B. showed when dimensionless parameter W/B greater than critical value (W/B) c lattice localized.
