摘要: Sixty-seven postmortem cases of cancer had two separate Menghini transthoracic needle liver biopsies performed through the same skin site. Histological and cytological evaluation for was on tissue core aspirated fluid. Twenty-seven 39 (69%) with metastases could be diagnosed these methods, as compared only 16 (41%) when utilizing one histological specimen no cytology, or 21 (54%) using biopsies.
