摘要: Patellar sleeve avulsion (PSA) fractures are rare injuries that occur in skeletally immature patients. Initial diagnosis is key to a successful outcome, as these easily overlooked on plain radiographs with poor results well documented from delayed management. High index of suspicion the mechanism injury, thorough clinical examination and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) help avoid misdiagnosis. The case 12-year-old male athlete an acute PSA after conservative treatment SLJ syndrome described. patient was referred our clinic due severe pain loss function performing high jump. Plain (X-ray) MRI confirmed inferior pole which fixed double trans osseous ultra-high strength tapes. At 3-month follow- up visit able ambulate brace free. 2-years follow play soccer ice hockey.
