摘要: A non-random association between an environmental factor and a given trait could be explained by directional selection (genetic determinism) phenotypic plasticity (environmental determinism). previous study showed significant relationship morphology water velocity in Salaria fluviatilis that conformed to functional expectations. The objective of this was test whether plasticity. from Corsican stream were placed four experimental channels with different velocities (0, 10, 20 30 cm s(-1)) there morphological response associated factor. After 28 days, fish shape changed without any growth. Fish higher exhibited more slender body longer anal caudal fins. These results indicate high degree riverine populations S. suggest the observed field may largely due determinism.
