摘要: Taxonomic characteristics of seven bacterial strains which were isolated from soil and hydrolyze resistant curdlan studied. These bacteria aerobic, spore-forming rods, contained menaquinone 7 as a major quinone, anteiso-C15:0 iso-C16:0 cellular fatty acids, had guanine-plus-cytosine contents 50 to 52 mol%, could be divided into two groups on the basis physiological chemotaxonomic DNA-DNA hybridization data. We propose following new species: Bacillus curdlanolyticus for YK9, YK121, YK161, YK201, YK203, with type strain YK9 (= IFO 15724); kobensis YK205 YK207, 15729).
