摘要: Despite its practical application in conservation biology and evolutionary theory, the cost of inbreeding natural populations plants animals remains to a large degree unknown. In this review we have gathered estimates depression (d) from literature for wild species monitored field. We also corrected d by dividing F (coeAcient inbreeding), take into account influence that variation will on d. Our data set includes seven bird species, nine mammal four poikilotherms (snakes, fish snails) 15 plant species. total obtained 169 137 traits; 81 those included F. compared our mammalian (limited traits related juvenile mortality) captive zoo published Ralls et al. (1988) determine if, as predicted literature, are higher than estimates. The mean SE (significantly diAerent zero not F) homeotherms was 0.509 0.081; poikilotherms, 0.201 0.039; plants, 0.331 0.038. Levels high magnitude be biologically important under conditions. When limited mortality mammals Fa0.25 (as is case set), found significant diAerence between two sets; had substantially at 0.25: 2.155 (captive species: 0.314). Of d, 90 were significantly zero, indicating inbred measured conditions frequently exhibit moderate levels fitness traits.
