摘要: Formation of the Drosophila larval body wall muscles requires specification, coordinated cellular behaviors and fusion two cell types: Founder Cells (FCs) that control identity individual muscle Fusion Competent Myoblasts (FCMs) provide mass. These types come together to final size, shape attachment muscles. However, spatial arrangement these cells over time, sequence events contribution relationships process have not been addressed. We analyzed three-dimensional arrangements FCs FCMs course myoblast assayed whether issues impact fusion. examined timing by analyzing profile in wild type mutants. showed there are temporal phases embryos. Limited occur during first 3 h fusion, while majority remaining 2.5 h. Altogether, our data led us propose a new model where frequency may be influenced FCMs.
