摘要: Even simple ognitive behaviors involve a complex spatiotemporal sequence of coordinated processes in many neural regions. Evoked potentials (EPs) have the subsecond temporal resolution needed to track flow information through brain while subjects perform cognitive tasks. To take full advantage provided by EPs, both spatial topography and relationships responses measured at different scalp sites must be considered. Toward this end, we been developing methods for statistically characterizing processing distributed cortical networks analyzing covariance EPs recorded from multiple locations. This method is called Potential Covariance (EPC) analysis.
