摘要: This paper demonstrates the optical nonlinearity in opto-mechanical ring resonators that consist of a bus waveguide and two resonators, which is induced by gradient force characterized Kerr-like coefficient. Each resonator has free-hanging arc perpendicularly deformable an subsequently this deformation changes effective refractive index (ERI) resonator. The change ERI induces into system, described equivalent Kerr coefficient (Kerr-like coefficient). Based on experimental results, system falls range from 7.64 × 10(-12) to 2.01 10(-10) m(2)W(-1), at least 6-order higher than silicon's dramatically improved promises potential applications low power signal processing, modulation bio-sensing.
