摘要: Abstract The survival of adult Alphitobius diaperinus (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae) at low temperatures has been investigated under laboratory conditions: LT50 ranges from 9.5 days 6°C to 47.6 10°C and LT99 20 102.2 10°C. Mean shows no significant differences between sexes, but 10°C, all the males are dead after 88 females 107 days. Temperature is progressively lethal for beetles: activity ceases, insects in chill-coma 12 died 22 At 1 month, 70% still active. Chill-coma a reversible state which entered last did not recover most cases also last. During winter sanitary disinfections, A. submitted subzero temperatures: rate key factor governing population dynamics poultry houses.
