摘要: Hormonal history is a major risk factor in the development of cancers breast and ovary. The effects steroid hormones estrogen progesterone on growth are mediated through cytoplasmic receptors encoded by genes ESR PGR, previously mapped to 6q24-q27 11q22-q23, respectively. To localize more precisely authors isolated YAC containing gene it fluorescence situ hybridization (FISH) new, simple method post-FISH chromosome banding. Comparisons fluorescent signals subsequent G-banding total 39 chromosomes were performed independently two qualified cytogenetists aligning center point each signal with corresponding G-banded picture. This allowed mapping hence 6q25.1
