Development patterns for decision support systems

摘要: Examples from a case-oriented survey of fifty-six decision support systems are cited to illustrate each four implementation patterns that were observed in the sample. These system development defined terms high or low degrees (1) initiation by user and (2) participation process. A surprising finding is initiated users implemented with their active account for less than one fourth all cases. qualitative analysis cases explains this interpreting six frequently situations, which has its own purpose dynamics. Categorizing these situations under headings "built for," "sold to," "forced upon," key questions concerns various stakeholders efforts cited. concluding quandary management involves choice project portfolio neither too risky nor safe.
