摘要: Abstract An unheated 8-l spherical explosion vessel is used to measure the Maximum Experimental Safe Gap for sprays of liquids whose flash points are higher than laboratory temperature. A simple model calculate fraction liquid volume that evaporated by hot combustion products from gap. The variations between liquids, mainly caused their different boiling point and latent heat evaporation, illustrated. effect mean drop diameter in spray considered.
