摘要: Abstract Previous in vitro studies to evaluate the possible role of cholesterol sulfate stabilization human erythrocyte membrane have been extended dog vivo. Thus, following injection labelled sulfate, a large fraction administered sterol conjugate is taken up by canine erythrocyte. Peak levels were obtained within 30–60 min. Measurement radioactivity associated with plasma and red cell fractions serial samples allowed calculation half-life each fraction. From data from four dogs, was calculated 5.8±0.9 h. The be 6.7±1.2 In addition, intravenous administration 0.2–0.7 mg sulfate/kg body weight withdrawal blood samples, significant diminution degree hemolysis observed when cells exposed hypotonic saline solutions. Maximal effects at approx. 6–7 h after conjugate. Hemolytic properties returned normal 24 injection.
