摘要: Cutaneous candidiasis represents infections of the epidermis, primarily stratum corneum skin, with C. albicans and occasionally certain non-C. species. The condition known as chronic mucocutaneous consists a variety syndromes varying degrees immune dysfunction resulting nails, mucous membranes Candida organisms. various forms cutaneous have number predispositions, such warmth, moisture, occlusion at local site, kinds natural or iatrogenic immunosuppression, perhaps some degree inherited susceptibility. system, particularly CMI, appears to be important in defense against this type infection. In skin mechanisms involved generating immunologic reactions are complex, epidermal Langerhans cells, other dendritic lymphocytes, microvascular endothelial keratinocytes themselves all playing roles. Studies elucidated defects, which cases may preexistent others secondary infection itself. Different cause individual patients lead development infections. Although an inability develop protective responses chronicity infections, treatment present time depends on antifungal medications; therapeutic modalities aimed reversing underlying defects remain experimental.
