Democratizing Global Justice: Deliberating Global Goals

摘要: The tensions between democracy and justice have long preoccupied political theorists. Institutions that are procedurally democratic do not necessarily make substantively just decisions. Democratizing Global Justice shows can be mutually reinforcing in global governance - a domain where both conspicuously lacking indeed requires democratization. This novel reconceptualization of the problematic relationship emphasises role inclusive deliberative processes. These processes empower agents necessary to determine what should mean how it implemented any given context.
