摘要: The tensions between democracy and justice have long preoccupied political theorists. Institutions that are procedurally democratic do not necessarily make substantively just decisions. Democratizing Global Justice shows can be mutually reinforcing in global governance - a domain where both conspicuously lacking indeed requires democratization. This novel reconceptualization of the problematic relationship emphasises role inclusive deliberative processes. These processes empower agents necessary to determine what should mean how it implemented any given context. Key include citizens poor; states but also international organizations advocacy groups active governance. argument is informed by applied decision process leading adoption Sustainable Development Goals, climate inasmuch as takes on questions justice.
