摘要: In a high-loaded, light-weight, compact, multi-stage gear transmission unit with at least one stage non-parallel shafts, and ratio between approximately 70 150, like helicopter transmission, said angle generally forms the weakest link. By adoption of face gear/cylindrical pinion-stage instead commonly used bevelled-stage, not only more reliable drive is possible, but its efficiency higher, due to less friction, size smaller, adjustment simpler such that straight forward replacement becomes and--not in least--the tends high ratios contrast known bevelled-drives which tend low ratios. many cases or even stages become providing further important reduction weight size.
