摘要: The anodic polarization curve, the static passive potential, and behavior of decay polarized potential iron were examined in neutral boric acid/borate solutions with without Fe++ ion addition. It was found that passivation is a function [Fe++] pH corresponds to equilibrium reaction . steady state related pseudoequilibrium higher defect concentration oxide surface lower at oxide/solution interface. gradient across film appears be very small. on open circuit explained as due mainly change defect‐concentration consequently composition interface either by outward migration through or solution when latter had been added supplied small amount self‐corrosion.
