摘要: The identification power of mass spectrometry has enabled the determination hundreds prohibited drugs in doping-control analysis. A few years ago, its utility was extended to peptide hormones such as erythropoietins, synthetic insulins and corticotrophins detectable blood or urine. New assays have been established improve fight against doping, employing highly selective sensitive detection methods based on chromatographic tandem spectrometric techniques. In particular, light recent scandals related assumed hormone misuse attempts at alteration urine, sophisticated analytical tools are essential for obtaining unequivocal results sports drug testing.
