Meson exchange in the weak decay of Λ hypernuclei and the Γn/Γp ratio

摘要: Abstract We take an approach to the Λ nonmesonic weak decay in nuclei based on exchange of mesons. The one-pion and one-kaon are considered, together with two pions, either correlated, leading important scalar–isoscalar ( σ -like exchange), or uncorrelated (box diagrams). Extra effects ω channel also considered. Constraints chiral dynamics used generate these exchanges. A drastic reduction OPE results for Γ n / p ratio is obtained new compatible all present experiments within errors. absolute rates different good agreement experiment.
