摘要: Maritime safety has undergone considerable change in the past decades, particularly inits improved approach to risk quantification analysis. This article reviews challenges of maritime analysis and different approaches used quantify risks transportation. Formal assessment (FSA) is examined with a focus on its deficiencies, recent developments are described at International Organization (IMO) level. The possible applications FSA security piracy discussed given growing impacts sea. Some new uncertainty modelling techniques also presented demonstrate how facilitates transformation culture from reactive prescriptive scheme towards proactive goal-setting regime.
