摘要: Preliminary precise age determinations of tectonic and metamorphic events across a transect the Torngat Orogen have shown time-span 80 million years between oldest synmetamorphic intrusions latest uplift orogen. Two tectonothermal peaks been determined at 1844 Ma (eastern central part transect) 1826 (western transect). Resume Les premiers resultats d'une etude geochronologique de l'orogene Torngat, axee sur la datation d'evenements tectoniques et metamorphiques, ont montre qu'une duree millions annees (entre 1860 1780 Ma) separe les premieres synmetamorphes surrection finale chaine. Deux "pics" deformation metamorphisme ete determines (au centre l'est chaine) (a l'ouest).
