摘要: The aim of this study was to evaluate the potential effects 2,3,4',5-tetrahydroxystilbene-2-O-β-d-glucoside (TSG) on development atherosclerotic plaque in ApoE-/- mice, and explore mechanisms involved. Our data showed that after 8 weeks treatment, TSG ameliorated serum levels total cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein increased high cholesterol mice. suppressed hepatic steatosis, formation lesions, macrophage foam cells Moreover, improved expressions SR-BI, ABCG5, CYP7A1, up-regulated protein aortic ABCA1 ABCG1. An in-vitro promoted efflux findings provide evidence for a positive role preventing atherosclerosis by promoting reverse transport. These may be achieved stimulating through ABCG1, SR-BI-mediated uptake liver, increasing secretion into bile improving metabolism CYP7A1 pathway. In addition, antioxidative anti-inflammatory also contribute its inhibitory atherosclerosis. Further is needed investigate whether other are involved TSG-mediated atheroprotection.
