摘要: The seismic assessment of heritage structures with complex architecture, such as masonry churches, remains a challenging task. In most cases, an accurate and reliable this type constructions requires computationally expensive nonlinear analyses. Due to this, simplified models, optimal compromise between accuracy computational burden, continue be necessary. This paper focuses on assessing the performance equivalent framed model, built from beam–column elements concentrated plasticity at ends, simulate in-plane response irregular macro-elements. case under study is nave macro-element Metropolitan Cathedral Santiago, Chile. proposed model evaluated by comparing its results previously generated based rigid body spring considering both static dynamic analysis. which in open source software OpenSees, shows that can satisfactorily reproduce macro-element’s state deterioration for different intensities.
