摘要: Olive oil agrifood industry generates large amounts of waste whose recycling as organic amendment represents an alternative to their disposal. The impact de-oiled two-phase olive mill (DW) on the fate 4-chloro-2-methylphenoxyacetic acid (MCPA) in Mediterranean agricultural soils was evaluated. Furthermore, effect transformation matter from this under field conditions assessed. Four were selected and amended laboratory with fresh DW field-aged (DW ADW treatments, respectively). Adsorption capacity increased by factors between 1.18 3.59, for DW-amended soils, factor 4.93, ADW-amended soil, respect unamended when 5 % applied. had inhibitory dehydrogenase activity slowed herbicide dissipation, whereas opposite observed treatments. In field-amended amount MCPA leached significantly reduced 56.9 soil 15.9 at rate. However, leaching losses laboratory-amended because high water-soluble carbon values which could enhance mobility, especially acidic soils. Therefore, application be important management strategy reduce leaching, if been previously transformed ageing processes.
