摘要: Twelve boys with Klinefelter's syndrome (47,XXY) identified by sex chromatin screening at birth were examined between ages 16 and 18 years, together 12 controls matched for social class order from the same newborn population. Physical examination, psychometric assessment, personality, degree of psychosexual development assessed without knowledge karyotype. Anthropometry showed increased leg length decreased head circumference in XXY boys. Gynaecomastia was present 4 boys, testicular volume reduced majority but one boy had normal sized testes. On Wechsler intelligence scale there a significant reduction verbal score not either performance or full-scale compared controls.
