摘要: [1] The development of tracer-tracer relations in the polar stratosphere is analyzed during period when vortex forms and a westerly circulation develops after summer (the setup phase vortex). We consider high southern latitudes from March to June for winter 1997 2003 northern September October 2003. ILAS ILAS-II satellite observations model simulations are used investigate chemical changes O3, NO2 HNO3 these periods. Tracer-tracer meteorological analyses consistently indicate separation incipient into two parts. The area within edge inner isolated outer part that still influenced by mixing with air midlatitude origin. In Antarctic April, ozone concentrations vary about 0.5 ppmv between 500 600 K potential temperature. This inhomogeneous distribution likewise obvious MIPAS measurements. Box explain low April caused loss due catalytic cycles which mainly driven NOx at this time year. also observed conversion vortex. During Antarctic, internal transport barrier disappears ratios become homogeneous throughout entire At time, no further occurs because lack sunlight.
