摘要: Successful implementation of integrated water resources planning and management (IWRM) requires delineation regions that are relatively homogeneous with respect to multiple criteria, including hydrographic, physical-environmental, socioeconomic, political-administrative aspects. The (WARPLAM) DSS is presented as tool for regionalization in support IWRM through: (1) GIS processing spatial data related criteria defining the homogeneity clustered base units (e.g., catchments) criteria; (2) application fuzzy set theory development composite measures over all alternative clustering adjacent units; (3) a modified dynamic programming algorithm guarantees consistent optimal solutions based on user preferences relative importance suite considered regionalization. viability WARPLAM regional demonstrated through case study Tocantins-Araguaia River Basin, second largest Brazil.
