摘要: Background Ankle sprains frequently result in persistent sensorimotor deficits. Sufficient evidence of effects training using unstable devices on physical functions is lacking. There no insight as to whether simultaneous tactile stimulation plantar foot mechanoreceptors textured surfaces may influence outcomes people with a history ankle sprain. Purpose The purpose this study was investigate the potential balance, strength, joint function, and sensitivity recreational athletes Participants Nineteen (6 females, 13 males; mean age: 29 ± 7 years) sprain self-reported sensation instability participated. Methods Self-reported function joint, cutaneous detection threshold light touch, balance during single-leg stance well maximal isometric strength eversion inversion were measured. randomly allocated either group or smooth control group. Outcome measurements repeated after six weeks at follow-up 10 weeks. Within between differences analyzed ANOVA, Friedman tests, Kruskal Wallis tests (p<0.05) post-hoc Bonferroni correction. Correlations outcome-parameters from baseline Spearman's rho (p<0.05). Results No significant between-group all outcome measures detected. However, increase found for (p = 0.01). A moderate correlation existed metatarsal head (MT) I (r 0.51, p<0.05) before across groups. negative correlations parameters -0.57 - -0.64, p≤0.01) thresholds MT V -0.48 -0.62, Conclusion six-week demonstrated inversion, sensitivity, groups better score testing seems correlate an decreased V. Level Evidence IIb.
