Optical Charge Transfer Absorption in Lithium-intercalated Tungsten Oxide Thin Films

摘要: Amorphous tungsten oxide exhibits electrochromism when intercalated with protons or lithium ions. Thin films of the material were prepared by dc magnetron sputtering and subsequently electrochemically lithium. The optical absorption in wavelength range 300to2500nm was measured for a number concentrations. All spectra can be fitted superposition three Gaussian peaks, representing possible electronic transitions between W6+, W5+, W4+ sites. variation peak strength concentration is consistent predictions statistical theory.
