Study of Differences Between Sunspot and White Light Facular Area Data Determined from SDO/HMI and SOHO/MDI Observations

摘要: Sunspot and white light facular areas are important data for solar activity used, example, in the study of evolution sunspots their effect on irradiance. Solar Dynamic Observatory’s Helioseismic Magnetic Imager (SDO/HMI) images have much higher resolution (∼0.5′′ pixel−1) than Heliospheric Michelson Doppler (SOHO/MDI) (∼2′′ pixel−1). This difference image has a significant impact sunspot measured two datasets. We compare area faculae derived from SDO/HMI SOHO/MDI observations. comparison helps calibration SOHO to those SDO also find 0.22 degree between North direction images.
