摘要: Lodging can he a detriment to yield anal quality of grain sorghum ((L.) Moench). However, the magnitude changes which occur in and has not been determined. An experiment was conducted measure alteration yield, protein, test weight this crop by artificially simulating two types lodging observed naturally field. Plants were manually forced 45-degree angle (root lodging) or stalk broken vicinity peduncle node (stalk break) at heading, early dough, hard dough growth stages.Lodging treatments decreased for all years studied. Results 1973 showed general increase protein concentration from lodged plants, but 1974–75 increases significant. Grain yields lowest earliest most severely treatments. Yield reductions due primarily reduced weights. Total production (concentration × yield) determined level rather than grain. It concluded that losses plants hindrance physiological function loss is independent may mechanically during harvest.
