摘要: Objective To examine cross-sectional baseline data from the Johnston County Osteoarthritis Project for association between individual and community socioeconomic status (SES) measures with hip osteoarthritis (OA) outcomes. Methods We analyzed on 3,087 individuals (68% white 32% African American). Educational attainment occupation were used as of SES. Census block group household poverty rate was a measure Hip OA outcomes included radiographic symptomatic in one or both joints. Multivariable logistic regression models to estimate odds ratios (ORs) 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) each outcome SES variable separately, then all simultaneously. Associations variables evaluated effect modification by race sex. Results Living high showed independent associations hips (OR 1.50, CI 1.18–1.92) bilateral (both hips) 1.87, 1.32–2.66). Similar found low educational among those 1.44, 1.09–1.91) 1.91, 1.08–3.39), after adjusting No significant observed outcomes, nor did sex modify associations. Conclusion Our provide evidence that are associated education measures, remained adjustment covariates measures.
