Pure gas of optically trapped molecules created from fermionic atoms.

摘要: We report on the production of a pure sample up to 3 x 10(5) optically trapped molecules from Fermi gas 6Li atoms. The dimers are formed by three-body recombination near Feshbach resonance. For purification, Stern-Gerlach selection technique is used that efficiently removes all atoms atom-molecule mixture. behavior purified molecular shows striking dependence applied magnetic field. very weakly bound resonance, exhibits remarkable stability with respect collisional decay.
