摘要: Radiological and clinical analysis was performed in 5 patients with posterior fossa dural arteriovenous fistulas (DAVFs) isolated sinus segment due to thrombosis, their patho physiological, diagnostic, therapeutic concerns were discussed. Patients ranged age from 36 73 years old a mean of 57 included 2 males 3 females. Two presented ataxia, one ataxia bruit, atypical facial pain, parietal dysfunction. One patient had history hemorrhagic event. DAVFs located at transverse-sigmoid (3 cases), superior petrosal (1 case), straight case). They fed by many branches external carotid artery including middle meningeal artery, ascending pharyngeal auricular occipital vertebral cerebral meningohypophyseal trunk internal artery. Shunt flow drained into contralateral or supratentorial sinuses via the venous through markedly dilated cortical and/or deep systems, which caused altered normal drainage pattern hypertension. Transarterial embolization multiple stages (mean 3.4) using n-butyl cyanoacrylate (NBCA) could alleviate symptoms all cases. almost totally obliterated patients. Further case, surgical excision case planed because some residual drainage. Posterior accompany systems. cause cerebellar, brainstem, cranial nerve dysfunctions, sometimes present distant hydrocephalus abnormal hypertension.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
