摘要: A multi-vane structure (18) for incorporation in an aircraft gas turbine engine has vanes (9) of complex geometry made braided fibers which are continuous about the cavities defined by vanes. These parts prepared providing a plurality removable mandrels (14a, 14b), stacking along horizontal axis cavity end (15b) to (16a) configuration, braiding (23) mandrels, cutting adjacent faces (17), side so placed parallel orientation and molding. Utilizing instead hand lay-up woven eliminates seams produces having periphery thereof substantially increases strength dimensional reproducibility part.
