摘要: The study area (Youngsan River estuary, YRE) has been changed into a semi-enclosed bay system since the YRE dam was constructed in 1981. In this paper, water residence time calculated by coupling Lagrangian transport and hydrodynamic models. We accounted for effects of freshwater discharge from flood, normal dry season using MOHID model. is determined estuarine circulation. Depending on characteristics dam, average during longer than that flood season. most vulnerable pollution can be located northern-eastern YRE. It necessary to put more efforts improving quality conducting continuous monitoring sound management particularly area.
