摘要: Examined demographic, environmental, and parent-child interactional correlates of physical activity in a group 222 preschoolers. Activity levels were assessed with system that quantified directly observed the natural environment. Using regression-modeling procedures, results revealed significant relationship between (a) child's relative weight, parental weight status, percentage time spent outdoors (environment) (b) children's levels. Parental obesity was associated lower children, childhood slightly higher activity, more outdoor participation activities also significantly interacted predicting Those children 50% risk for (as defined by both, one, or neither parent being overweight) had small changes across interaction, whereas those at responded increased as interactions increased. Results are discussed, implications these findings future intervention efforts examined.
